We are so happy with how our home turned out – it is exactly what we were hoping for and more. We felt like we were involved in every phase and enjoyed working with the finish carpenters and sub contractors.  It was also reassuring to see that Mike obviously has a good relationship with mutual respect for all his employees and subs. Building a custom home can be a challenging task but we had a great experience and were sad to be done. We would highly recommend Mike and Atlas Construction to anyone who is thinking of building a custom home. We have absolutely no complaints and have made some great new friends in the process, too!

My wife and I encountered Atlas when we were searching for a second home in Madison, CT. The company had demolished a 1970’s house and was about to build a speculation home on its site. The plans were done and the “on paper” visions for the new house seemed good. The prospect of contracting for a planned house for us was daunting. The Atlas team could not have been more helpful and sympathetic in the planning and building process. They met with us every weekend on-site through the winter, spring and summer to examine the progress. We were able to see other houses they had built in the vicinity and were impressed with the workmanship and attention to every detail. The finished house we moved into last year is beautiful beyond our expectations. Over the past year, Atlas has been responsive and attentive to every little detail of our concern as we fit into our new home.

We can honestly say that Mike, Rich, Jim and the rest of the team at Atlas are phenomenal. From the very beginning, as we designed the house, through construction and finish, their attention to detail was second to none. Their team was creative, extremely talented, knowledgeable and supportive throughout the entire process. They brought to the table expert subs and advisors when necessary and ensured that all of the work was superbly crafted. If you are looking to design-build a custom home, we would highly recommend Atlas Construction. They made a lengthy, complex development a wonderful experience and were a joy to work with.

Kathy and I can not be more pleased with Atlas Construction’s building and design process, the quality of finishes, detail decisions made by Mike and his team, and the end product. We have lived in the house for almost two years and have not had to recall Atlas for anything other than minor items. When called, Mike and his team respond quickly and resolve open issues or answer questions of equipment operations in a timely manner. Atlas started the job with a very detailed written budget and did not waver from those specifications or costs unless it was mutually agreed upon. On a custom home of this quality, it takes extension planning and coordination and is a credit to their attention to the process. Kathy and I love our new house.
